Following the 2015 Paris Agreement, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change is getting specific to the point where it can be used to identify corporate norm violations. Taking note of that, in October 2017, GES started to actively screen for climate-related incidents. In this webinar, GES will present its view on the recent developments, explain how GES conducts its screening, list the implications for investors using norm-based screening, as well as explain the importance of the topic and why it will most likely continue to grow in importance. A few samples of real-world cases will also be presented.
