GES, the Global Engagement Services company, reorganises and expands its Danish operations to strengthen its Emerging Market Engagement and Danish client servicing capabilities.

Over the last twelve years GES Denmark has been pivotal to the success of GES internationally and the development of industry leading services. To strengthen its operations in Denmark, GES has decided to expand the scope of its Emerging Market Engagement by integrating the experience and competencies developed and managed in Denmark by Palle Elleman with those of GES’ Global Engagement Team. At the same time, Charlotte Mansson joins GES Denmark as Senior Key Account Manager, dedicated to servicing existing and future GES clients. The appointment follows earlier resignation of Erik Alhøj from the position of Managing Director at GES Denmark, who decided to seek other endevours.

Charlotte joins GES on February 3, with strong experience in responsible investment from most recently Ethix SRI Advisors in Denmark as well as RepRisk in Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to that, Charlotte worked as a management consultant in London and Brussels, as well as at Danske Bank in New York.

“We are happy to have attracted Charlotte, who brings with her not only a thorough understanding of the Danish market and client needs but also an international business development experience to the benefit of GES internationally,” said Magnus Furugård, President and Managing Director and founder of GES.

“Engagement and corporate change is pivotal to the development and success of responsible investing and I am looking forward to joining the industry’s leading engagement manager and contribute to GES’ future development,” Charlotte Mansson commented.

With these changes, GES expects not only to strengthen client servicing and business development but also to better proliferate the risk-based, proactive/pre-emptive focus of the Emerging Market Engagement within all of GES’ core engagement processes. Equally important, this enables dedicating the additional global resources necessary for Emerging Market Engagement to become the strategically important service that also caters to the needs of GES’ increasingly global client base.
